China Clothing Textile Accessories Expo 2025 Melbourne

November 5, 2025

Hosted by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textile and Apparel, and co-hosted by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Commerce, the 2025 Australia China Textile and Apparel Exhibition (Melbourne) is scheduled to take place from November 18 to 20, 2025, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).

Since its inception in 2001, the exhibition has been successfully held for 27 editions and is one of the largest and most influential professional textile and apparel events in Australia and the South Pacific region. To meet the growing demand for participation, the event has expanded to two sessions per year since 2023, alternating between Sydney and Melbourne, both receiving positive feedback.

This Melbourne edition will feature 516 standard booths and bring together 474 outstanding enterprises from various provinces and cities across China, including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shandong, Fujian, Hubei, Jiangxi, and Shanghai. Notably, this is the first time enterprises from Guangxi and Shanxi—non-traditional strongholds of the textile and apparel industry—have registered to participate, demonstrating the exhibition's expanding influence.

The exhibition covers a comprehensive range of products, including all types of apparel, accessories, home textiles, fabrics, footwear, bags, and auxiliary materials. The exhibitor lineup is strong, featuring both distinctive small and medium-sized enterprises and industry leaders such as Jiangsu SOHO, Jiangsu Guotai, Zhejiang Zhongda, and Hebei Textile.

Australia is an important economic and trade partner of China. Data shows that in 2024, China's textile and apparel exports to Australia reached USD 6.46 billion, while from January to September this year, exports amounted to USD 4.74 billion. Meanwhile, China remains Australia's largest source of textile and apparel imports, accounting for approximately 60% of the market share. With the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), the trade environment continues to improve, providing more favorable conditions for deepened cooperation between enterprises from both countries. This exhibition will once again be held concurrently and at the same venue as Australia's well-known "Global Sourcing Expo Australia (GSEA)," expected to attract a large number of high-quality international buyers and provide an excellent platform for exhibitors to conduct transactions and exchanges.

The Melbourne exhibition aims to provide an efficient platform for Chinese textile and apparel enterprises to deeply explore the Oceania market and further promote the high-quality development of China-Australia economic and trade cooperation.
